Linda was born in Tucson, Arizona but at age five, moved to California. A passion for drawing and painting began early in childhood and continues to this day. The love of horses and the California landscape is evident in the subject of many paintings. Linda works in oil, pastel and pencil.

She has studied under such noted artists as Richard McKinley, Albert Handell, Michael Drury, Robert Frame, Glenna Hartman, John Comer, and Bert Collins. She was accepted for apprenticeship with internationally acclaimed muralist John Pugh.

Linda is an award-winning member of the Santa Barbara Art Association, Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment (SCAPE), Goleta Art Association and the Gold Coast Pastel Society. Her paintings are in collections across the United States. She has been an invited artist particpating in Street Painting Festivals in San Rafael, Santa Barbara, and San Diego. She was the winner of the "Artists' Choice" and "Best Original" in San Diego's Paint the Bay and won an honorable mention in the Pastel Journal's "Pastel 100" national competition.
